Decision 451/2024 Approving National External Communication Program
The Prime Minister approves creation of a National External Communication Program to conduct political, media, and cultural activities through Libyan embassies abroad year-round. The Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs will chair the program, with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and embassy attachés.
This decision has minimal direct business impact. It establishes a diplomatic public relations framework to project Libya's political vision internationally through embassy activities. Foreign companies may encounter increased cultural and commercial engagement opportunities through embassy channels, particularly via commercial attachés who are tasked to support the program. However, this is primarily a soft diplomacy initiative with no regulatory, compliance, or market access implications.
